A few images from my recent travels to Spain and Portugal.
II love polaroids so you will see a lot of them here, this photo is from the Alhambra in Granada, Spain. Southern spain is peppered with gorgeous Islamic architechture so we spent a lot of time touring mosques and churches.

Gibraltar is pretty interesting because it is still a British territory, at the tip of the Iberian Peninsula. We had to go through passport control and technically left the EU to get there.
Jardim Botanico do Porto, Porto, Portugal
The botanical garden had this wild Alice and Wonderland set happening. It was pretty surreal.

We went to a little town outside of Porto called Guimaraes, at the castle in the town they had an art exhibit that featured different textile artists installations alongside the traditional art in the castle. This was my favorite installation.
We hiked in the Geres national park in the north of Portugal. It was magical.
There were these fountains all along the trail, set on top of freshwater springs, so the hikers could have fresh water on their travels.
We went back to the north of Spain for a night, and stayed near this town Fisterra, also called Costa da Morte because of the large number of shipwrecks along the coast. Before America was colonized, this was thought to be the most westernpoint of the earth.

This was the last polaroid I took on our trip. We went to the museu de arte contemporânea de serralves and saw a Cindy Sherman exhibit, and then walked the amazing grounds, where I took this, a photo of Brendan and one of our friends.
